Understanding board results
Each province and territory in Pakistan has its own Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), along with the Federal Board (FBISE) for federally administered institutions. Boards set their own examination schedules, marking timelines and result publication processes, which is why the same class can be announced on different dates depending on the board.
When are results announced?
Result dates vary by board and class, and can shift due to marking timelines, verification steps or public holidays. Treat any date as an estimate until the board issues an official notification, and check back closer to the expected date for updates.
What you need to check a result
- Roll number, exactly as printed on the roll number slip
- Class (9th, 10th, 11th or 12th)
- Board that conducted the examination
- Examination year
What to do after checking your result
- Save or download your result information for your records
- Verify that your name, roll number and subjects are correct
- Keep a copy in case you need it for admissions or applications
- Review your board's rechecking rules if something looks incorrect
- Follow official instructions for collecting certificates and marksheets
What if your result is missing?
First confirm that your board has officially announced results for your class. If the announcement date has passed and your result still isn't available, contact your board directly, as they are the authoritative source for result records.
